We started #Ridin4Camps because we believe raising money for camp should feel a little like camp itself: simple, a bit scrappy, and full of heart. Sometime between June 1 and Father’s Day, folks head out on a bike, on foot, on a paddleboard, wherever the trail takes them, and ride, hike, or roll in support of a kid they may never meet. There’s no sign-up sheet and no fundraising minimum. Just pick a day, send us a photo, and if you’re willing, share a donation link with the people who love you.
Every camp we support runs on more than good weather and willing volunteers. Behind the scenes, there’s insurance to renew and governance work that never makes headlines, and that steady, unglamorous work is what our Endowment Fund exists to carry. As the fund grows, its investment income will help hold up all five camps for years to come, while your gift itself stays protected. You can give directly to BCMB Camps or through Canada Gives. Either way, you’re planting something that will still be growing long after this summer’s campers have gone home.
