About

The BCMB Bible Camp Society has the privilege of operating five Mennonite Brethren camps across British Columbia. Every summer we are blessed to share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ with nearly 5,000 summer campers. For many of our campers, their week at camp is the most profound and best week of their summer.  Many campers come to know Jesus Christ for the first time, and many more grow in their relationship with Jesus, gaining valuable life and leadership skills.  Our five camps are a special place for children and their families in so many powerful ways.

Endowment Information

Our new BCMB Bible Camps Endowment Fund is owned by the BCMB Bible Camp Society with a clear mandate to help all five of our camps reach their full ministry potential. It is hosted by the Canada Gives Foundation, professionally managed by Newport Private Wealth, and advised by Curtis Scoville, Master Financial Advisor – Philanthropy, at G7 Wealth Inc.

Building a strong balance sheet is important for our five camps as we look to the future.  Financial support for our summer staff, campership aid, insurance premiums, and capital projects are just some of the many ways this fund can practically help our camps.

How Your Gift Becomes a Permanent Legacy

Every donation to the endowment will grow and pay dividends for generations to come. Investments are managed with the same care and diversification as pension funds, foundations, and insurance companies. Our goal is to provide a secure foundation for our ministries that covers 10 to 15 percent of our combined annual budgets.

The endowment trustees will discuss the current camp needs, how the fund is doing, and bring forward recommendations which will be presented to the BCMB Bible Camp Society board of directors for discussion and approval.

Our Goal

Our goal is to see 2 million dollars in our fund – which will, in turn, give our camps an additional $100,000 in annual revenue!
